Rental Terms and Conditions

Rentals are a great way to add that extra bit of character to any event while saving money on items you won’t need more than once.

I am so please to be offering this service to those who need it.

If you decide to rent, all information will be sent to you through your invoice. By paying the invoice which includes the rental fee and security deposit, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth.

Payment and Fees

All rental items will be invoiced via Square. 50% is due at time of booking to secure the item. The remaining 50% is due prior to pickup.

All rental items will be required to pay a $25 security deposit in addition to the rental cost PER ITEM. Meaning, it you rent one item it will be “rental price + $25 security deposit” and if you rent two items it will be “rental price + rental price + $50 security deposit”. This deposit will be refunded to the renter once the item(s) is returned to JST clean and damage free. It the item is returned either late, dirty, and/or damaged, JST reserves the right to hold a portion or all of the security deposit PER ITEM to cover costs.

Pick Up and Return

Rentals are to be picked up at Jenetta’s Simple Treats and returned in the same manner. All rented items will be presented to in a secure container/box either fully assembled or with instructions to set up the item. Once picked up, the items must be returned within 48 hours. Prior to returning the item, be sure the item is cleaned of any debris, fully dried, and securely placed back into its designated container/box.

If an item is not returned within 48 hours, the security deposit for said item will not be refunded. If after 72 hours the item has still not been returned to JST and/or there has been no communication, said renter will not be permitted to rent items from JST in the future.

Damage to Item

Damage to any item must be reported to JST. If the damage in question is a standard wear-and-tear, there will be no charges and the security deposit will be returned. However, it the damage in question is due to being dropped, banged, mishandled, or improper care, JST reserves the right to hold a portion or all of the security deposit PER ITEM to cover costs.

If damage it noticed on an item prior to pickup and/or unboxing, please take pictures and report them immediately to Jenetta’s Simple Treats to avoid loss of security deposit.
