Giving back to the community has always been such a big part of my life and upbringing. I will never forget the feeling I had as a little girl seeing a van pull up to our house and providing “Christmas” to our family. Someone, somewhere out there, provided everything my family needed to have a magical and memorable holiday when we needed a little extra help. Because of this impactful memory, my family makes a point to do whatever we can, when we can, for those who need it most. Giving back, donations, and monthly contributions to non-profits is written into our personal budget. So we thought, “Why not the business as well?”

Each month, one person/family/organization will be gifted some goodies from Jenetta’s Simple Treats. The donation may be for a birthday party, a retirement, a school event, an organization, or more. A form must be filled out the month prior stating the reason for the donation, what is being requested, and when the items are needed. Based on submissions and the allotted monthly funds, Jenetta’s Simple Treats will make a selection and the recipient will be announced at the beginning of each month.

Who is Eligible: Anyone within the Las Vegas area is eligible. It can be for an individual person, a company/job site, a non-profit, a school, or on behalf of someone else. The recipient MUST be able to pick up their item(s) as delivery will not be an option. JST is located on Nellis AFB. If the recipient does not have access, JST will be able to meet at the housing gate for pickup.

What items can be requested: Any items from the menu may be requested.

May the recipient pick a theme/color scheme: YES! On the Google Form, linked below in the date chart, there will be a place to upload inspiration images and provide information on the design. The more descriptive the better.

Monthly Selection: All submissions must be submitted the month prior to the donation. The announcement will be made the beginning of the month as to whom was selected. The winning recipient MUST BE FOLLOWING Jenetta’s Simple Treats on social media to claim their treats. If the selected recipient does not make contact within 24 hours of the announcement to claim their treats, the runner up will be selected and the original recipient will have to try again.

What’s the catch: There is no catch! The monthly recipient does not have to pay anything. They are not required to make future purchases, leave a review, or share anything about the business. The only thing they must do is follow Jenetta’s Simple Treats on social media as this is where the announcement will be made and how they will claim their treats.

How can I support: You can support in three ways! One, purchase a cupcake sticker for only $1.25 each. 100% of the proceeds go towards funding the Monthly Giveback. Two, share and follow Jenetta’s Simple Treats on social media. Three, contribute with a donation! Your donation will go directly to the closest month to allow for larger recipient requests.
